Why Should you Schedule a Consultation?
At the Princeton Center for Plastic Surgery every patient has a personal and confidential consultation as they investigate the options for plastic or cosmetic surgery. Dr. Thomas Leach feels that it is important that everyone can not only explore their options but confirm that they are a good candidate for the procedure or enhancement they are considering.
Additionally, Dr. Leach realizes that there are many different treatments and procedures he offers, both surgical and non-surgical that can possibly achieve your desired results and he wants to be sure that each patient is comfortable in knowing their options.
The overwhelming advantage of a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon is that your physician has all surgical and non-surgical options available to consider. Your rejuvenation may require something in-between. That breadth of option and possibilities is what Dr. Leach provides.
The decision to have cosmetic treatments is a very personal and important choice. You will ultimately base your decision solely on your own set of established priorities and desired face and body rejuvenation goals. At the Princeton Center for Plastic Surgery, we always customize our consultations and recommended treatments to meet your desired goals.
About Your Consultation with Dr. Leach
During your consultation process, Dr. Leach’s Patient Care Coordinator will provide you with information about the procedure(s) and, equally as important, allow you to become familiar with our team and us with you. Dr. Leach will also examine you, learn about your concerns and goals, discuss your case, listen, educate, and support you in making your decision with an informative process that includes a thorough discussion of available options, while answering any questions you may have.
In addition to discussing your cosmetic or reconstructive procedures in descriptive terms, Dr. Leach will provide examples of other patients’ results to help you visually see possible solutions.
If it is determined by Dr. Leach that you are a good candidate for the procedure(s), your consultation will include a discussion of your treatment plan, which will entail costs and the financial policies. Dr. Leach typically does not perform any significant surgical procedure on patients without meeting them at least twice. Patients are never charged for follow-up visits to the initial consultation. At the second visit all questions are answered, and patients are verbally walked through the planned surgery and anticipated post-op course and recovery.
