What is Dysport®?
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults less than 65 years of age.
Dysport® is a neuromodulator, like BOTOX® Cosmetic that is manufactured by Galderma. The products are similar, as they are both injectables cosmetically used to relax muscles on the forehead and to address wrinkles, furrows, and lines. Dysport® uses its own unique formula of botulinum toxin that safely causes your facial muscles to relax.
What Does Dysport® Treat?
Dysport® is FDA-approved to treat moderate-to-severe cases of frown lines (glabellar lines) and wrinkles in adults. Dysport® treats dynamic wrinkles by relaxing the muscles, which effectively diminishes:
- Crow’s feet (fine lines and wrinkles around eyes)
- Frown lines
- Forehead furrows
